CETPA's Clubhouse Case Manager (TWO POSITIONS)

Education:
- A Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) or eligible.
- Childcare experience preferred; adolescent-friendly attitude; able to set firm, consistent limits.
- Staff will need to participate in any necessary training is needed to provide the necessary services and
supervision to Clubhouse Youth.    

Specific Duties:
- Provides as a single point of contact for clients in order to provide and ensure access to tangible client
needs such as: food, shelter, clothing, transportation, education etc.
- Provides follow-up and on-going services to clients.
- Provides supervision for all Clubhouse youth; setting appropriate limits.
- Reinforces the Clubhouse rules with all youth.
- Keeps daily notes of activities the youth participate in.
- When necessary contacts family members and supports the Clubhouse Program Director in arranging daily
participation of members in Clubhouse.
- Maintains a positive attitude toward all Clubhouse members and their families.
- Conducts informal groups to youth in the Clubhouse; topics to be arranged  

Other:
- Bilingual preferred due to our clients (English and Spanish).
- Full-time position.
- Hours: 1:00pm – 9:00pm, M – F, Saturdays (2 times a month if needed.)

Education:- Minimum of an Associate or Bachelors degree in a business field or equivalent job experience.

Specific Duties:

Assist with the analysis of data, monitoring and evaluation.

Education –
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling or related field; and/or in social services experience; Medicaid billing and
service delivery preferred.
- You must be able to write, read, and speak English and Spanish.
- If claims to be recovering from chemical dependency – must have at least three years of sobriety/clean
time.
- Must understand and be willing to adhere to all team member policies, procedures, and processes included
in the Team Handbook and the Patient’s Right Handbook.

Specific Duties –
-  Consists of rehabilitative, and community support and resources coordination considered essential to
assist the child and family in gaining access to necessary services and in creating environments that provide
recovery  and support the emotional and functional growth and development of the child.
- Following and assisting clients with the implementation of targeted interventions that promote recovery.
- Service and resource coordination to assist the consumer and family in gaining access to necessary
rehabilitative, medical, social, and other services and supports.
- Assistance with developing skills for youth to self recognize emotional triggers and self-manage behavior
related to the child’s emotional disturbance
- Safe transportation of clients will be indicated when transportation protocol is followed.
- Documentation must be completed in a timely manner, and in compliance with DHR guidelines by using the
G (Goal), I (Intervention), R (Response), and P (Plan). Notes will be reviewed consistently by the Treatment
Coordinator.
- Strength Based interventions should be thoughtful, creative and directly  related to the  consumer’s
individual target behavior and related back to their treatment plan.
- Family members are actively contacted and encouraged to provide input into the rewards and /or
consequences provided to their youths.
- Provide scheduled face to face with client at least once a month in the community.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward all clients and their families.
- Facilitate two (2) skills training groups a week; Parent group and Seven Challenges; meet minimum
standards of productivity as established by the Executive Director and Treatment Coordinator.

FULTON COUNTY

Part-time Certified Addiction Counselor Position

Part-time Certified Addiction Counselor needed. This is a contractor position that requires a drug screen and background check prior to employment. Salary range is $20-$30 per hour, per Face-to-Face visit. You are also required to attend weekly Staffings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. As a certified addiction counselor, it will be your duty to assist people to handle all types of different compelling behaviors, from drugs to shopping.

A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science is required and work experience with adults severe and persistent mental illness or with individuals with similar human-services needs. Must have a strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with a severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences; work in market jobs; and have access t helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services. Skills and competence to establish supportive trusting relationships with persons with severe ad persistent illnesses and respect for clients rights and personal preferences in treatment are essential. Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license.

We are looking for a CAC in training or higher who is highly motivated to provide group counseling for substance abuse adolescents.  We need someone who works well with youth and who is willing to work flexible hours (evenings), and at least 2 Saturdays a month.  Schedule can be negotiated.  This person would work in our agency Clubhouse which is intended to provide afterschool rehabilitative (social and recreational) support to teenagers.  In addition, this person will support the Clubhouse Program Director in completing any additional documentation and case management services.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: The Program Coordinator will perform a wide range of programmatic and administrative activities focused on successful outcomes for our substance abuse treatment program; coordinates and directs operations and program personnel to ensure efficient operation of the Project Self Empowerment Program (PSE).  This individual will also use independent judgment within the framework of established Stand, Inc. policies and procedures. This position reports directly to the Deputy Director.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 The Program Coordinator will provide the following services:

 

Plan, schedule and assign work of program personnel, instructing them in proper performance of work and ensuring provision of needed resources.

Develop and implement comprehensive communication and referral system between collaborating agencies.

Assist program staff as needed, performing intakes, administering intervention surveys and other related assessments as needed with the target population.

Research and schedule training opportunities for program staff

Work with evaluation specialist to meet program objectives

Ensure enforcement of program protocols, especially confidentiality.

Schedule and attend regular staff and collaborating agency meetings.

Collect data on a monthly basis and compile monthly activity reports to be submitted to the Program Director/Deputy Director. 

Assist Deputy Director with monitoring budget and program activities.

Participate in quality assurance of program by providing staff supervision, performance evaluations, meeting regularly with staff to determine successes, problem areas and structure change for improvement. 

Facilitate behavioral and educational groups and provides short- and long-term counseling.

Perform other duties as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

 

o       Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field

Certification Addiction Counseling (CAC)

Considerable knowledge of substance abuse and minority health issues, including HIV/AIDS. 

Cultural competence in client and community values required. 

Ability to work independently, but have experience with multi-disciplinary team approach. 

Proficiency using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and Word.  Proficiency with Internet

Strong Interpersonal Skills

Valid drivers license, insurance and personal vehicle.

Pass criminal background check/drug screening

Effective written and oral communications

 

Preferred:
